Lab Téléinfo
The Teleinformatic Research Laboratory (Téléinfo) attached to the Computer Sciences Department was founded by professor Omar Cherkaoui in 1996 at l’Université du Québec à Montréal. Under the supervision of Mr Omar Cherkaoui and with the collaboration of several professors, the research is done with postgraduate and graduate students, as well as trainees coming from various parts of the world including France and Vietnam.
The Laboratory specializes in several fields including advanced aspects of high-speed network management, new multimedia applications superimposed with network IP's such as modeling and development of platforms for media art, dynamic repertory virtual characters and of morphological selector, establishing direct-object for SNMP-V3 protocol, construction of a prototype for a wireless ontology of telecommunications between computers and finally optical fibre architecture.
